New York City came out for the 53rd annual Village Halloween Parade on Saturday, October 31, 2026. With Halloween falling on a Saturday for the first time since 2015 and beautiful autumn weather, it felt like the whole city was out for the celebration.
It was great to see parade favorites return. Fogo Azul, the all-women drumming group, paid a wonderful tribute to the late Dolly Parton with colorful costumes and their signature percussion. The Thriller NYC dancers put on another fantastic performance, and the Tailshakers, performing as the TailSLAYERS for Halloween, once again dazzled with their dancing.
There were new floats, plenty of lights, and an impressive variety of costumes. It was a memorable Halloween night in Greenwich Village.
Here are some of the sights and moments from the 2026 Village Halloween Parade.
