Approximately 50,000 football supporters filled Central Park’s Great Lawn for Global Citizen’s sold-out FIFA World Cup Final watch party on July 19, 2026.Argentina colors appeared throughout the lawn, but Spain’s extra-time goal changed the afternoon. Ferran Torres scored in the 106th minute, and Spain held on for a 1–0 victory to win its second men’s World Cup championship.Across the Great Lawn, the match moved from tension to celebration—Emiliano Martínez saves, raised phones, Spain shirts held above the crowd, Argentina supporters absorbing the result and Spanish flags moving through Central Park after the final whistle.Full gallery + story → link in bio
