PHILADELPHIA — Fan Expo Philadelphia 2026 brought celebrities, artists, vendors and pop culture fans to the Pennsylvania Convention Center, but throughout the day, cosplayers helped define much of the event’s visual energy.

On Saturday, May 30, attendees filled the convention halls as characters from comics, anime, video games, fantasy, horror and film. Hallways, stairways, upper-level walkways and lobby areas became informal portrait spaces as cosplayers stopped for photos, posed with props and brought their characters into the middle of the convention.

Marvel, DC and Comic-Inspired Cosplay

Some of the standout looks included @toxiekat as Nightcrawler, complete with blue body paint, swords and a tail, and @heyitslilly as Rogue from X-Men. @cosplayben brought a strong Venomized Magneto-inspired look, while @cosplaydza stood out as Spider-Punk with a bass guitar.

Props, Poses and Fan Creativity

Props played a major role across the convention floor, from swords, staffs and scythes to shields, guitars, bows, wands and oversized handmade pieces. Some cosplayers kept their poses simple, while others leaned into full performance with action stances, horror expressions, superhero gestures and a Spider-Man handstand from @jone_jone.

Walking through Fan Expo Philadelphia, each section of the venue offered another character, another fandom and another creative interpretation. The event was about celebrity guests, vendors, artists and collectors, but it was also shaped by fans who put time, craft and personality into bringing these characters into the real world.
