Thousands Gather for Annual NYC Dyke March, Ending in a Joyful Fountain Celebration

On June 28th, 2025, the streets of New York City filled with chants, signs, drums, and radical queer pride as thousands took part in the Annual NYC Dyke March. The march began at Bryant Park and surged down Manhattan’s avenues, culminating in an electrifying gathering at the iconic fountain in Washington Square Park.

After the march, the spirit of resistance transformed into pure celebration. Thousands poured into the fountain, splashing in the water, draped in Pride flags, raising fists, dancing to music, and sharing chants that echoed off the Washington Square Arch. Some lifted banners high

In a time when queer and trans rights continue to be threatened, this gathering in the heart of New York is a testament to the enduring power of collective joy, solidarity, and love.
